If one wants to hear some astonishingly good new 'deep space' dark ambient music, one could do worse than to check out the soundtrack to INLAND EMPIRE. David Lynch has created some extraordinary music, especially the 12-minute piece called "Woods Variation" (also used as the soundtrack to a short film Lynch has done called "Ballerina" which may be seen on the 'Extras' DVD of INLAND EMPIRE)...
